California’s State Historical Building Code” means California Health and Safety Code Section 18950 et seq., and a regulation of Part 8 of Title 24, of the California Code of Regulations. This code provides alternative standards and regulations intended to facilitate repairs, alterations, and additions necessary for the preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, safety, moving, or continued use of a qualified historical building or structure.
