“Building” means a structure that has a roof and walls and stands more or less permanently in one place, such as a house, barn, church, hotel, office or similar construction that is created to shelter any form of human activity. “Building” may also refer to a historically and functionally related unit, such as a courthouse and jail or a house and barn.
