Police officers or other persons charged with the duty of enforcement of traffic regulations in the City shall not issue citations to any vehicle displaying the authorized permit issued by the City Engineer regardless of the length of time that said vehicle may be parked on any residential street on which a two-hour parking time limitation has been imposed; provided, however, such permits shall not authorize parking in excess of the 72-hour limitation as imposed by CVMC 10.52.100.
