If any provision, clause, sentence, or paragraph of CVMC 9.12.120 through 9.12.230 or the application thereof to any person or circumstance shall be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or applications of the provisions of CVMC 9.12.120 through 9.12.230 which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of CVMC 9.12.120 through 9.12.230 are hereby declared to be severable.
