The provisions of CVMC 9.12.010 through 9.12.030 are intended to prohibit the playing of “bingo,” “tango,” “bridgo,” “panguingue,” “skill ball,” or any game or combination of games similar in operation to such games, and to apply to the free as well as to the paid playing of such games; provided, however, that the game of bingo, as conducted under the laws of the state of California, is hereby exempted from the prohibitions contained herein.
