No Person shall own, operate or direct the operation of any ambulance unless there shall be filed with the City Clerk a policy of insurance executed and delivered by a company authorized to carry on an insurance business in the state of California, by the terms of which said insurance company assumes responsibility for death or injuries to Persons or damage to property caused by the operation of said ambulance in the minimum amounts required by state law and/or established, and kept on file with the City’s Risk Manager.
