Noncontributing resource” means a resource within the boundaries of a proposed or designated historic preservation district which does not contribute to or physically convey the historical significance of a proposed or designated historic preservation district. These resources may or may not be limited to those resources less than 45 years old, properties older than 45 years old that have been significantly altered, or properties not associated with the period of significance or historic context of the proposed or designated historic preservation district.
