“Expert professional” means a qualified professional that meets the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualification standards contained within 36 CFR Part 61 and is approved and listed on the City’s list of qualified consultants. The professional qualifications define the minimum education and experience required to perform identification, evaluation, registration, and treatment activities. If the City deems necessary, the City shall have the discretion to require additional areas or levels of expertise depending on the complexity of the task and the nature of the historical resource involved.
