Whoever willfully or maliciously or wantonly or without cause writes in or upon, or injures, defaces, tears or destroys, any book, plate, picture, engraving, map, newspaper, magazine, pamphlet or manuscript or deliberately injures any furniture belonging to the Chula Vista Public Library is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable as provided by this code.
