Upon recommendation of the Chief of Police or his duly authorized representative, the City Purchasing Agent may determine that unclaimed property is suitable for use by the City. The provisions of this chapter relating to the holding period and notice shall be complied with prior to the transfer to and acquisition by the City. (Ord. 3455 § 1, 2019; Ord. 2098 § 2, 1985).
