There is hereby adopted by reference the California Referenced Standards Code, known as California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 12, 2022 Edition, as copyrighted by the California Building Standards Commission. Said document is hereby adopted as the referenced standards code of the City of Chula Vista for the purpose of providing minimum standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, certain equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of all buildings and structures within the City of Chula Vista. Chapter 15.06 CVMC shall serve as the administrative, organizational and enforcement rules and regulations for this chapter.
