During the land development work, the contractor and owner shall take all necessary measures to eliminate any hazard resulting from the work to the public in its normal use of public property or right-of-way. Any fences or barricades installed shall be substantially constructed and shall be properly maintained as long as the hazard resulting from the work exists. (Ord. 3005 § 1, 2005; Ord. 1797 § 1, 1978).
