A. The design of all new and replacement water supply and sanitary sewage systems shall be certified by a registered professional in the respective field of expertise. All new and replacement water supply and sanitary sewage systems shall be designed and constructed to minimize or eliminate infiltration of floodwaters into the systems and discharge from the systems into floodwaters.

B. On-site waste disposal systems shall be located to avoid impairment to them or contamination from them during flooding. (Ord. 3477 § 1, 2019; Ord. 3210, 2011; Ord. 3097, 2007).
