Each bond, instrument of credit and cash deposit shall be made on and subject to the condition that no change, extension of time, alteration or addition to the terms of the permit or to the work contemplated thereunder, or the plans and specifications submitted in connection with the same, shall in any wise affect the obligation of the surety on said bond, instrument of credit or cash deposit and, further, that the surety waives notice of any such change, extension of time, alteration or addition.
