Any license issued pursuant to this chapter may be suspended or revoked by the Police Chief on proof of violation by the Permittee of any provisions of state law, this chapter, City ordinances or any rule or regulation adopted and approved pursuant to CVMC 5.35.121, or in any case where the Police Chief, on the advice of the health officer, determines the bathhouse is being managed, conducted, or maintained without regard for the public health, or the health of patrons or customers, or without due regard to proper sanitation or hygiene. Where a license is denied or a license renewal is denied, or where a license is suspended or revoked by the Police Chief, such denial, suspension, or revocation may be appealed by the license Applicant or licensee, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1.40 CVMC.
