An interested party may appeal in writing the decision of the Zoning Administrator to the Development Services Department within 10 business days after the date of the decision. Once a valid application has been received, the Development Services Department shall take no longer than 30 calendar days to set the matter for public hearing and placed on an agenda for a regularly scheduled HPC meeting. The meeting date shall also be no more than 60 calendar days from the application’s filing date. The appeal shall address in writing each of the findings for denial on a form prescribed by the City and shall submit a fee pursuant to CVMC 21.12.020 for appeals of historic preservation matters. All appeals shall be considered by the Planning Commission, and the decision shall be final. (Ord. 3544 § 12, 2023; Ord. 3196 § 3, 2011).
