All model homes shall clearly display a sign, visible from the roadway adjacent to the home, using black writing (two inches high minimum) on a white sign stating,

THIS MODEL HOME USES WATER EFFICIENT LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION.

Signs shall explain the principles of water efficient landscape based on a water budget and demonstrate low water use approaches to landscaping such as using native plants, gray water systems, and rainwater catchment systems.

Developers shall provide homebuyers with an outdoor watersmart package at move-in and information about the City of Chula Vista Naturescape Program. (Ord. 3357 § 1, 2015; Ord. 3146 § 1 (Exh. A), 2009).
