This chapter establishes the permit procedures for developments located in the coastal zone as defined in Section 30150 of the Public Resources Code. This chapter is based on the LCP implementation regulations adopted by the California Coastal Commission pursuant to Public Resources Code Sections 30333 and 30501, and as such shall constitute the procedural requirements for review of developments in the coastal zone pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 30600(d).
