The minimum lot size and maximum residential density in any PUD modifying district shall be that allowed in the underlying zoning district as specified in this title; provided, however, that City Council may authorize a higher density or a smaller lot size by permitting density to be calculated as specified in the PUD policy. Such increased density or any portion thereof may be authorized by City Council in accordance with standards established in the PUD policy.
