There is hereby adopted by reference that certain document known and designated as the Urban-Wildland Interface Code, 2000 Edition, as copyrighted by the International Fire Code Institute. Said document is hereby adopted as the urban-wildland interface code of the City of Chula Vista, California, for the purpose of prescribing regulations mitigating the hazard to life and property from intrusion of fire from wildland fire exposures, fire exposures from adjacent structures and prevention of structure fires from spreading to wildland fuels. That certain code known as the Urban-Wildland Interface Code, 2000 Edition, is hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as though fully set forth herein, excepting such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended.
