10.64.030 Exemptions – City of Chula Vista, public utility, solid waste, and contractors’ vehicles.

The provisions of this chapter shall not be applicable to any vehicle owned by the City of Chula Vista, a public utility or a licensed contractor while necessarily in use in the construction, installation or repair of any public facility or utility; to any vehicle subject to the provisions of Sections 1031 through 1036, inclusive, of the California Public Utilities Code; or to any vehicle used for the collection and transportation of garbage and solid waste.
